5 Of the Best Tips To Manage SIBO Naturally

SIBO restore 3Do you have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth or SIBO? If so, then check out these five tips to manage SIBO naturally.

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, also called SIBO, is a condition that is characterized by an abundance of harmful microorganisms in the small intestine. This condition was once thought to occur in only a small number of patients. However, researchers now say that the disorder is a lot more prevalent than once thought.

Patients with SIBO can experience a range of chronic symptoms including chronic diarrhea, fatigue, weakness and abdominal pain and bloating. So far, the optimal medical treatment for SIBO has mainly been elusive, according to research. Antibiotics are often prescribed for this condition.

However, these can lead to a variety of even worse problems, including antibiotic resistance. Plus, antibiotic use can permanently wipe out good bacteria in the body, which leads to a range of issues, including asthma, cancer, and obesity.

The above reasons are why leading health experts recommend more natural treatments versus antibiotic use for the treatment of SIBO. Here are X tips to help you fight SIBO naturally.

SIBO diet restore 3#1 Add Organic Acids To Your Diet

Small amounts of organic acids are usually beneficial for individuals with SIBO. They helped kill off harmful bacteria. They also support digestion. Two examples of organic acids are lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. You can add these to herbal tea or water. Try just 1-2 tablespoons of organic acids per 8-ounces of water.

#2 Avoid Strenuous Exercise

If you have SIBO, exercise is essential. However, some types of activities can make digestive issues worse. Vigorous training or working out in the hot sun can make gut problems worse. Strenuous exercise damages the cells in the intestine, according to researchers.  This causes both short and long-term issues with your gut functioning. It may be a factor in leaky gut syndrome, where toxic substances leak through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream.

#3 Do Yoga

While strenuous exercise can make SIBO worse, yoga has the opposite effect. Yoga offers a variety of benefits that extend well beyond digestion. It helps with stress relief, back pain and body strength. Yoga also aids in digestion. Yoga postures help cleanse and stimulate your digestive tract. They also encourage the growth of “good bacteria.” Check out this post for SIBO relief.

low fodmap diet restore 3#4 Try A Low A Low FODMAP Diet

A low FODMAP diet has been shown to be very useful for SIBO. Some foods, such as highly fermented foods, tend to “feed” the harmful bacteria in your gut, worsening your SIBO symptoms. A diet that is low in these foods — or a low FODMAP diet — has been shown to be beneficial for people with SIBO.

#5 Consider a SIBO Restoration Program

If you have SIBO, I would recommend considering the use of a support supplement program like the Restore 3. This program is an all-in-one system to help you naturally fight SIBO. It helps fight a buildup of damaging bacteria in your gut and restores your gut functioning to normal.

The IBS Diet

IBS diet restore 3Do you suffer from the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)? Is diarrhea, cramping, bloating and gas causing you a great deal of misery? If you have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), you might suffer from these symptoms on a daily basis. Irritable bowel syndrome symptoms can cause a great deal of anxiety; the good news is that the proper diet can help significantly when it comes to controlling the symptoms of IBS.

The gut harbors trillions of fungi and bacterial cells naturally. Usually, there is a balance of healthy bacteria in the stomach, which helps to keep unhealthy microbes under control. However, certain foods can contribute to an imbalance of microbes in the gut. This can result in an overgrowth of harmful bacteria in the digestive system, which can lead to symptoms of IBS.

So, the first step in eliminating IBS symptoms is to change the environment of the gut. The gut environment is what has caused an imbalance in the first place. So, you must restore the stomach to its healthy state. One way to help that process along is by following an IBS diet. An IBS diet will help nourish your body by starving off unhealthy bacteria in the gut.

Foods to Avoid

You can start to balance your gut microbiota by starving off and flushing out harmful bacteria that reside in the gut. To do this, you’ll want to avoid certain foods that are hard for your body to digest. You don’t need to avoid these foods forever — just until your gut has established an equilibrium. After your digestive system is balanced, then you can start introducing these foods back into your diet. Here are the foods to initially avoid:

  • Starches – All grains and starches, including those deemed to be gluten-free, should be avoided at first.
  • Sugars -Stay away from sugars, including fruit juices initially.
  • Dairy – Homemade kefir is okay. Otherwise, avoid dairy products.
  • FODMAP foods – These foods contain certain carbs that can cause digestive issues. Examples include wheat, onion, garlic, asparagus, brussel sprouts.
  • GMO foods – Stay away from genetically modified foods, such as aspartame and soy.
  • Nightshade fruits and vegetables – These foods belong to the family of Solanaceae plants. Examples include bell peppers, tomatoes and eggplants.

For the complete list of foods to avoid, check out our helpful ebook.

Foods To Eat

low fodmap diet restore 3So, what foods can you eat then? You’ll want to eat clean, organic meats and vegetables like organic chicken, eggs and low FODMAP foods. These are easier for the body to digest and will help eliminate pathogens while keeping your nourished. Here are some other things to do:

  • Drink plenty of water – Water helps flush out the toxins from your body.
  • Try activated charcoal – This can help your body flush out toxins, as well.

Restore

After you have flushed out your gut, you’ll want to work on restoring your gut microbiome. In this stage, you will optimize your body with the proper nutrients. A restorative diet will help you do just that.

We have developed a meal plan that includes daily examples of meals to help restore your body to its natural state. The Secret Link Between Your Gut And Immune System

IBS diet restore 3Do you often suffer from food intolerances, IBS or stomach pain? Scientists are now just beginning to understand how the gut is connected to chronic illness. A variety of diseases can occur when the protective functions of the stomach are compromised. How does this happen?

To maintain optimal health, all of the systems in your body work closely together. When one system is not balanced, it can cause a variety of other health symptoms.

The gut is one area that often gets out of balance and affects your entire immune system. Your gut harbors almost 80% of your immune system tissue.

The digestive system is the first entry point for harmful bacteria to enter the body. Your gut must be very healthy to fight off illness and disease. The digestive system contains tissues, cells, and organs that work together to defend the body against harmful bacteria, toxins and infectious diseases.

The gut naturally contains strains of healthy flora that are critical for overall immunity. These “good bacteria” work to fight off infection and disease. They keep your digestive system — and your entire body healthy.

The healthy flora are a natural killer of pathogens and disease. They keep the intestinal walls strong and prevent pathogens from being absorbed into the bloodstream.

How Does Gut Bacteria Affect Immune Functioning?

SIBO restore 3Because healthy gut flora is so important in helping your immune system function correctly, it is imperative to maintain a healthy balance of good bacteria in the gut. Research has found that gut microbiomes play a role in colon cancer, type 2 diabetes and obesity.

So, how can you maintain a healthy ratio of good bacteria in your digestive system? Harmful bacteria tend to “hide” behind a layer of biofilm in the gut. The biofilm is extremely toxic and made up of different types of neurotoxins.

However, the biofilm protects the “bad bacteria” allowing them to grow unchecked. When this happens, the bacteria damage the intestinal walls, causing tiny puncture holes. This syndrome is called “leaky gut.”

One of the first symptoms that people with leaky gut notice is food intolerances. Eventually, the leaky gut allows the harmful bacteria to leave the digestive system, enter the bloodstream and cause a variety of other symptoms, such as chronic fatigue and migraines.

The Role Of Diet In Gut Health

unprocessed food restore 3The first step in getting rid of the symptoms is to eliminate the damaging bacteria hiding behind the biofilm layer. One way to do that is to focus on what you eat.

Research has found that certain food additives can affect gut health. Processed foods contain additives that help extend the shelf life of food, but they can change gut flora.

A diet that emphasis whole, unprocessed foods can help restore your gut’s normal functioning.

How Restore 3 Can Help

Another way to heal your gut is with a natural healing remedy like the Restore 3 formula. This formula was specially designed to address biofilm disruption and remove harmful bacteria and yeast. It also rebalances your gut microbiome to help heal your gut.

Colloidal Silver for Candida

colloidal silverTwo popular and natural means to rid the body of Candida infections are to change the body’s PH through diet, or to treat the affected area either topically or internally, using a colloidal silver Candida treatment.

Prescription antibiotics used to fight infections kill all bacteria indiscriminately, including the friendly bacteria that keep fungi such as Candida in check.

What is Candidiasis?

Candidiasis is an over abundance of naturally occurring yeast that grows into a fungal infection when an environment is created that allows the yeast to bloom. Friendly aerobic bacteria present in the body generally act to control the level of this yeast.

Acidophilus is a common example that may become lacking due to dietary restrictions. Diabetics are particularly afflicted as their above normal sugar levels can provide an over abundant food source for the yeast.

Internal (Systemic) Candida

leaky gut restore 3Untreated, internal Candida in the intestinal tract can build up to levels that eventually enter and invade the blood stream to become leaky gut syndrome, create sinus infections or develop candida patches on the skin.

In leaky gut, the yeast can grow long roots into the lining of the intestinal wall, allowing access to the bloodstream. This can often lead to a compromised immune system that provokes other illnesses.

The fungus produces microscopic barb-like hooks, called rhizoids, that cut into tissue causing irritation around the infected area.

How Colloidal Silver Works

The colloidal silver Candida treatment fights fungi on contact both internally and externally. Topically, colloidal silver is safely applied without worry of adverse affects.

Recommended applications are two to three times per day until the symptoms subside. Internally, Colloidal silver dosage should be small at first, about 1 tablespoon a couple of times per day.

How to Break Down Candida Biofilm for Best Results

Biofilm On FingersAll species of Candida have a defense mechanism called biofilm. Biofilm is a slimy film that yeast secrete and hide beneath. This allows them a “blanket” to safely multiply in numbers.

This biofilm is extremely difficult for anti-fungals (including colloidal silver) to penetrate, and it’s also highly toxic to the human body. It’s responsible for many symptoms including: fatigue, digestive issues and the dreaded brain-fog associated with candida overgrowth.

In order to ensure your colloidal silver works effectively for Candida, you’ll want to first dissolve this biofilm barrier and expose the candida colonies hiding underneath. This will help make your colloidal silver more powerful in eliminating the candida overgrowth.

One of the safest ways to dissolve Candida biofilm is using systemic enzymes. These are natural enzymes that your body already produces. But in order to break down the tough walls of Candida biofilms, you need to use a lot more enzymes than you body normally produces.

This is the 1-2 punch method that we share with our users in our private support group for not only eliminating Candida more quickly and effectively, but also for SIBO and other bacterial and fungal overgrowth as well.

You can learn more about this powerful method here.

Candida Die-Off Symptoms

Be aware that when you begin treating Candida internally, the release of toxic waste by the abundant dying fungus can cause you to feel initially worse. This is referred to as Candida die-off.

For this reason it is suggested to begin treating the internal infection gradually at first, with small amounts of colloidal silver, in order to keep the waste substances to a level that is manageable for the body to expel.

People who use colloidal silver  topically usually report that it will cure athlete’s foot, vaginal infections, and skin fungal infections. However, if these Candida symptoms reoccur, it can be a sign of an internal infection.

Different Types of Colloidal Silver

The most effective kind of colloidal silver out there is generally copper in color, and doesn’t require special, light proof bottling.

True colloidal silver is often a rare supplement, since most companies are simply selling ionic silver, which is a clear, colorless liquid. Colloidal silver is superior because of it’s particle size in comparison to ionic silver.

Both are effective. However, it’s ideal to find the true colloidal silver.

Possible Side Effects

Colloidal silver is not approved by the FDA. When taken internally, the most well known side effect is argyria, the bluish gray tinting through depositing of sliver salts in the skin, eyes, and internal organs, which can occur in less than a year with frequent use.

However, the study was paid for by pharmaceutical interests and the type of silver this individual ingested was a homemade silver chloride (a silver component not associated with colloidal silver), with salt added to the brew.

He then applied this brew topically before sitting in a tanning bed to “fix” the silver into his skin.

There is a great deal of misinformation caused by the media these days and one need only investigate a little bit to uncover the truth.

Natural Treatment

If a person is wary of prescription pharmaceuticals, colloidal silver can be a worthwhile and more natural alternative for common cases of Candida such as Candida thrush of the mouth, jock itch or yeast infections.

For those concerned about the side effects of colloidal silver, it’s recommended as a topical treatment, rinse or mouth wash. Colloidal silver naturally leaves the body via the urine so that there is no buildup in the body.

It is one of the oldest forms of medicine that our civilization has used to treat a myriad of health issues.

In order to make the most of using colloidal silver, it’s best to follow a diet and supplement protocol. Restore 3 is an easy to follow protocol that includes enzymes and probiotics for an effective method of treating candida.

Candida Die Off Symptoms

candida die offOnce you have recognized and begun implementing a treatment for Candida albicans, you can expect a short period of discomfort ranging from a few days, to a few weeks, depending on the severity of the Candidiasis that you have.

This period of discomfort is often referred to as Candida die off symptoms, or a healing crisis. This happens to many sufferers of Candidiasis and is due to the rapid die off of Candida yeast cells within your body when you first begin a treatment for Candida albicans.

Factors for Die Off Symptoms

The two biggest factors that determine the severity of Candida die off symptoms, and the length of time that these symptoms last, will depend on how bad your Candidiasis actually is, and how prepared your primary organs of elimination are, to handle the onslaught of dead Candida cells.

Knowing about these Candida die off symptoms and why you may experience them, will help you to better cope during this period and provide some relief as this process takes place.

You may even be able to help speed up this process by following the advice given here on this page. The biggest reason why people experience die off symptoms are because their primary organs of elimination get backed up and have to work overtime once the masses of dead Candida cells begin getting processed by your body.

Other Organs

healthy kidneys restore 3The colon, liver and kidneys are the primary elimination organs in your body. If these aren’t working properly, then the result is a number of symptoms including: sluggishness, headaches, aches and pains, fatigue and digestive problems as well as a number of mental and emotional instability.

So, the first step, before doing a treatment for Candida albicans, is to make sure that these primary elimination organs are functioning properly because they will be working overtime once a Candida treatment begins and you start experiencing Candida die off symptoms.

How to Prepare

There are many types of ways to ensure that your elimination organs are primed for a Candida treatment program. One of the most popular methods is to do a standard 2 day fast, with the 3rd day consuming only organic steamed veggies and fresh juices.

You will want to do 1 enema session per day, or, a colon hydrotherapy session, once the fasting is complete, to ensure that the colon is thoroughly cleansed of all residual toxins. Many times during a fast, it is difficult for the bowels to evacuate since normal rhythm and timing are thrown off.

Next Steps

Once your elimination organs are primed, it is safe to follow a natural treatment for Candida albicans. Most people will experience Candida die off symptoms early in their treatment program as this is when the bulk of the Candida yeast colonies will die off.

Some of the more common Candida die off symptoms that many people experience are: fatigue, headaches, sore throat, ‘brain fog’, depression, irritability, muscle aches, dizziness, nausea, and a general sense of instability in their well being.

What does it mean?

While these symptoms are indeed unfavorable, it is something to actually be celebrated, since it means that the Candida treatment you are undergoing is actually working to kill the Candida yeast cells within your body. You are well on your way to feeling better again and this is the first tangible sign that you are getting better.

It is sometimes very difficult to know, if indeed, you are experiencing Candida die off symptoms, or, if you are simply experiencing symptoms of Candida, which can both be very similar symptoms.

The best advice for you is to not concern yourself with this and focus on the 2 biggest factors that you can control which is to assist your body’s own elimination process by doing a fast and enema/hydrotherapy session before your treatment for Candida albicans, and second, following the anti Candida diet as described in the Restore 3 protocol.

Symptoms of Male Yeast Infection

candida die offMany of the symptoms of male yeast infection look similar to STDs and other infections, so it is important that you get checked by a medical professional if you show symptoms of an infection. Getting the best male yeast infection treatment will depend on your identifying and treating the infection early.

It is possible to have a male yeast infection for many weeks or months without showing any symptoms. A person who has a partner that gets yeast infections often should get regular check-ups, even if they are symptom-free, to make sure that they do not have a dormant infection. When you get treatment before the symptoms flair up, it is possible to avoid the discomfort that results from the infection.

Where does Yeast Grow?

There are many women that get yeast infections regularly. Yeast fungus grows easily in dark, moist areas of the body. Men who are not circumcised usually get yeast infections more than men that are circumcised. The infection will often reside in the folds of the skin and may not be symptoms of male yeast infection may not show up until the area is irritated.

While many men who get male yeast infections are infected as a result of unprotected sexual intercourse with an infected partner, there are other reasons that men get this infection. Overuse of antibiotics, low immunity, stress, and a poor diet often are prime factors for getting the infection. One way to avoid getting the infection is to eat a healthy diet and avoid eating foods that encourage yeast growth.

Symptoms

There are several symptoms of male yeast infection that indicate the initial onset of infection. A strong smell in the urine, and a burning when you urinate, are two of the early signs of infection. If the dome of the penis become red and irritated and there is itching, this is another symptom of the infection.

When the infection is in a more severe stage there may be a continual white discharge from the penis and there will be burning and pain during sexual activity. You may also begin to see small white blisters that are very painful and make wearing pants uncomfortable.

When the symptoms of male yeast infection are not treated early, they often will get worse until it begins to invade other parts of your body (systemic). Visit a physician so that they can rule out an STD and diagnose the yeast infection.

Once the proper diagnosis has been made you will be given several options for treatment that may include prescribed antifungal medications, over the counter topical medications and natural remedies for male yeast infection treatment.

Treatment

unprocessed food restore 3The medications sold and prescribed for women are different than those for men. When you are looking for a male yeast infection treatment, finding the remedy that is designed for men and treats your specific symptoms will be important.

The treatment of the immediate symptoms will be accompanied by other medication to treat the internal cause of the infection when necessary, as the root of infection is due to the overgrowth of yeast within the digestive tract.

Most health care professionals suggest a change in diet when treating male yeast infections. There some types of foods that encourage yeast growth and reduce the effectiveness of the medication that you are using to treat the yeast infection.

Finding the remedy that is best for you may require some research and discussion with a medical professional experienced with Candidiasis, who knows what types of medications and natural remedies are most successful for male yeast infections. A great place to start is with the Restore 3 protocol, which outlines the steps for a candida diet and probiotics to replenish your natural gut flora.

Probiotics for Candida

probiotics restore 3“Do Candida probiotics really work?” will often present itself whenever somebody is concerned about contracting an illness or infection revolving around the Candida albicans or Candida monilia fungus. Candida probiotics is a field ripe for exploration, and there have been some very impressive discoveries with probiotics in the last 10 years.

Is it really the case that probiotics kill Candida? The short answer is yes, but this question is best answered by understanding how probiotics can work when they are making their way through a persons gastrointestinal system. It is helpful to understand that the Candida organism inhabits, as a natural occurring flora, within the intestinal tract of both men and women.

About Probiotics

How are probiotics for Candida used, then? For the most part they’re a form of bacillus. The most commonly used form of bacillus as a probiotic is what biologists call lactobacillus. The plural for such a word is “lactobacilli.” These organisms are very much present in the gastrointestinal tract of most humans. The active bacillus found in yogurt, acidophilus, is believed to play a part in the longevity of some European peoples.

Specific Probiotics for Candida

yogurt probiotics restore 3What then, is the best probiotic for Candida? Coincidentally, lactobacillus acidophilus seems to work best against Candida, and there have been at least three well researched studies in humans that have proven this. It is the case today, for those suffering from constipation or diarrhea, that many doctors will advise them to drink acidophilus milk or yogurt due to the presence of the beneficial probiotic.

Effectiveness

Can probiotics kill Candida, then? Research suggests yes, because it has shown that lactobacilli and bifidobacteria have the capacity to inhibit the Candida organism from quickly repopulating out of control. As always with humans, individual variation within a species plays a part in whether or not probiotics for Candida can have a concerted effect against Candida albicans or Candida monilia fungal infections. What is for certain is that the use of Candida probiotics as a possible firewall against Candida infections shows great promise.

Within the lactobacillus or lactobacilli realm, it has been determined by those studying such organisms that many have different characteristics when it comes to their effectiveness against Candida. Therefore it is important that the correct strain of probiotic be used.

For instance, a woman interested in preventing the occurrence of a yeast infection might be advised by a homeopathic specialist to take one form of lactobacilli probiotic over another. Research shows that each strain of probiotic can have a different effect on the Candida organism.

Research

What is for certain is that probiotic Candida research is ongoing and has the promise of one day being a preventative measure in the matter of eliminating the possibility of Candida infections if the right bacilli probiotic combination is identified and put into use. To be sure, Candida probiotics are not a form of medication, but are thought to aid the body in controlling the Candida albicans organism within the G.I. tract.

Rather, probiotics for Candida have the best chance working effectively when they are part of a healthy diet and in people who have a high awareness of what Candida is and what it isn’t. One can gain the most benefit by using Candida probiotics along with a proven system for eliminating Candida infection which includes the major steps outlined in the Restore 3 protocol.

Types of IBS

IBS diet restore 3Learn about the various types of irritable bowel syndrome.

People with irritable bowel syndrome or IBS suffer from recurrent gas, bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea and food intolerance. The severity of IBS and symptoms may vary from person to person. However, the symptoms of IBS tend to recur and go on for months.

There are three different types of irritable bowel syndrome, and all of them can cause a great deal of misery for the IBS sufferer.

IBS With Diarrhea (IBS-D)

Irritable bowel syndrome that causes frequent diarrhea is called IBS-D. With IBS-D, you might have loose stools frequently — but not always. People with IBS-D also have sudden, intense urges to go to the bathroom.

The most common symptoms of IBS-D include:

  • Frequent or loose stools
  • Sudden urges to have bowel movements
  • Abdominal discomfort or pain
  • Gas
  • Nausea
  • Feeling like the bowels can’t be emptied completely

IBS with constipation (IBS-C)

One of the defining features of this type of IBS is constipation. IBS-C is more than just chronic constipation. It involves other symptoms, including diarrhea. This type of IBS is especially harmful to the intestines. Having constant constipation can weaken the walls of the intestines causing spasms. Other symptoms of IBS-C include: :

  • Lumpy stools
  • Hard stools
  • Cramps or pain in the stomach area
  • Straining to have a bowel movement
  • Having a bowel movement less than three times a week

IBS With Alternating Constipation And Diarrhea (IBS-A)

Most people get diarrhea or constipation from time to time. However, if you get both of them often, you might have a type of IBS known as IBS A for alternating or irritable bowel syndrome with alternating diarrhea and constipation. Several research studies have found that people with IBS-A tend to get more stomach cramping and pain than with those who have other types of IBS.

Symptoms of IBS-A include:

  • Alternating diarrhea and constipation
  • Stomach pain and cramping

What causes IBS?

Researchers do not know what causes irritable bowel syndrome. Women are more likely to have IBS than men. It is also more common in people under the age of 50. People who have a family member with IBS are more likely to get the disorder.

How is IBS Diagnosed?

There isn’t a specific test that can say whether you have IBS or not. Your doctor will likely look at your health history and symptoms to determine whether or not you have IBS. Your physician may conduct other tests to rule out other similar conditions. If the tests do not point towards another disorder, your doctor may diagnose IBS.

What are the treatments for IBS?

SIBO restore 3You might need to try several different things to get relief from IBS. Changing your diet can help.

One of the prime underlying causes of IBS is often an imbalance in the gut. The Restore 3 program can help you treat IBS and restore your digestive system to a healthy state. It disrupts and remove harmful bacteria in the gut and replenishes your digestive system with healthy microbiome.

What is Candida Albicans Thrush?

candida albicansCandida albicans thrush is not a very rare thing to have. The fungus is called Candida albicans and is found naturally in the human body. It normally resides in the G.I. tract and mucous membranes within the body.

It can also travel through the body via the bloodstream. Like all fungus, it needs moisture to survive, and is relatively safe in normal amounts within the body.

What causes it to overgrow?

Changes in the natural chemistry of the body often makes Candida albicans, or Monilia, grow out of control. This overgrowth generally starts to cause problems when the balance within the gut is upset. Some of the localized problems appear as a white, creamy substance accompanied by itching and discomfort.

Often, Candida albicans thrush is referred to as Monilia, especially when infection occurs in or around the mouth. Whenever there is too much yeast in a region of the body an infection can occur.

Yeast cells generally colonize in typical areas in the body, in particular, the mouth, intestines, and genital regions. There are a few major factors that can cause this imbalance to occur.

Causes of Thrush

pills antibioticsThe most common causes of thrush are the overuse of antibiotics without repopulating the body with probiotics, once the round of antibiotics has been completed. Antibiotics kill the friendly, yeast regulating bacteria in your body.

Unfortunately, it kills the good bacteria as well as the bad, but does nothing to kill yeast cells. This then can allow Candida yeast to flourish unregulated, since there is nothing to keep the yeast in check. The most common overgrowth’s occur within the mouth and the vagina. This happens because of the warmth, darkness, and moisture in these areas.

Thrush and Monilia

Thrush is when this overgrowth occurs in the mouth. This happens most often in the mouths of infants, but can occur in adults too. It can also spread from the mouth to the esophagus and digestive tracts. In some instances it can be caused by a problem with the immune system itself not functioning properly.

Monilia often appears as a white film with red or bleeding patches on the gum’s, tongue, and other soft tissues of the mouth. Cultures and blood tests are normally used to identify the type of Monilia.

Doctors will often know it by sight and the cultures taken are usually to confirm diagnosis and treatment of it. If the cultures say that it is Candida Albicans the doctor will generally prescribe antifungals such as Nystatin or Capricin.

Treatments

Common, treatment for minor thrush problems generally require an over the counter medication. However, in severe cases, where thrush either is recurring, or there are other symptoms besides those in the mouth or throat, it is best to educate yourself on how to eliminate the root of the problem.

Generally, the root of the Candidiasis infection lies within the digestive tract, where colonies of yeast have overgrown beyond the bodies ability to regulate. In this scenario, it is best to adopt a particular anti Candida diet as well as adjust your lifestyle for a short period of time in order to aid your body in killing off the Candida.

The best treatment for Candida albicans we’ve found to date is the Restore 3 protocol. The program includes an easy to follow diet and supplements with the right balance of probiotics and enzymes to replenish your system.

Thrush is a relatively simple organism and is easily fixed. However, if left untreated for too long, it can become a very relentless and resilient problem to be rid of. Major changes in diet, hormonal balance and antibiotics are usually the cause, and correcting these changes can usually provide quick relief.

What is Candida Esophagitis?

esophagus candida restore 3Candida esophagitis results from an oral yeast infection or fungal infection that starts in the mouth and spreads down the esophagus. The infection gets its name from the yeast, Candida. Yeast infections, including Candida in the throat, affect all ages and sexes. However, those with weak immune systems seem to be at greater risk of developing a Candida throat infection.

Many of us may have not realized that yeast infections are not only infections around our genital areas, but they can also form in other parts of our bodies. The infections affect both sexes and affect children.

How to Recognize Candida Esophagitis

Oral Candidiasis infections are most often recognized from symptoms such as burning and pain in the mouth or throat, fever and oral lesions. Some visible signs include a heavily coated or discolored tongue and cracking around the mouth.

A few other signs that could point to some form of yeast infection are cravings for sugar, alcohol, bread or carbohydrates, fatigue, depression, muscle aches and joint pain.

Those who suffer from Aids, Cancer, Diabetes, Organ transplant patients, and those suffering from thyroid disorders, all have a lowered immune response to infections and suffer greater odds of developing a Candida throat infection. They are also at greater risk of developing oral thrush because of their weekend immune systems.

Treatment

For patients who do not suffer from depressed immune systems, treating Candida esophagitis should be rather easy through prescribed antifungals that can be administered orally or through and injection. However, for those with immune system issues, treatment may be different and lengthier.

Prevention

For someone who has suffered from a yeast infection, prevention methods are very important. The infections are very aggravating and can be painful in the mouth or throat when trying to swallow.

What leads to Candida in the throat is when someone develops Candidiasis in their intestines, which then spread to other areas of the body. The intestines are the major place where the Candida organism reside and can grow out of control, leading to complications throughout the body.

Sometimes treating Candida esophagitis can be tricky, when dealing with issues such as holes in the esophagus, repetitive infections, and the infection spreading to other places in the body. Keeping a good healthy immune system is the key to fighting any infection.

Candida Diet

unprocessed food restore 3Those who are suffering from a yeast infection should develop a strict diet, avoiding alcohol, sugar, white flour, refined or processed carbohydrates, fruit, milk and anything containing yeast or mold.

To avoid re-infecting yourself when brushing your teeth, someone who is suffering from a yeast infection in the mouth or throat should disinfect their toothbrushes. Place your toothbrush in 70 percent of alcohol or hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes before and after each brushing.

A step by step diet and protocol can be found here: Restore 3

A few natural remedies that may help treat yeast infections in the mouth or throat include grape fruit seed extract, grape seed oil, gentian, caprian tea, homeopathic Candid Silicea and Artemisia. Also, implementing a daily vitamin, iron tablet and acidophilus supplement may help to prevent these dreadful infections.

For anyone who develops symptoms of Candida esophagitis, especially those with a repressed immune system, they should seek medical attention. Try to keep yourself educated on the Candida organism and how it functions within the compromised body.

Candida Die Off

candida die offUnderstanding Candida die off will involve knowing a bit about the signs and symptoms that could be present should the Candida microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract begin to waste away and then die.

It is sometimes known as Herxheimer Reaction, and it can occur when the excess Candida yeast in the G.I. tract start to die usually as a result of a Candida treatment program.

When die off happens, natural toxins from the Candida yeasts have to be processed by the body. These toxins, which are produced at a rate that the body sometimes cannot adequately dispose of its own, might lead to certain mild to severe symptoms.

Symptoms

Though they are general in nature, they could include headache, occasional blurry vision within a person’s field of view and depression (ranging from mild to severe).

Another Candida die off symptom that people often complain of is brain fog but there are a whole host of other symptoms that can surface.

What can be strange is that the Candida die off effects may be completely nonexistent or very severe, depending on the person who’s affected by the Candida yeast die off. It almost entirely depends upon the ability of each person to deal with the effects of the toxins that are released when the Candida begin to die. It’s generally assumed that such a die off results from one of two conditions.

What causes Candida Die Off?

unprocessed food restore 3The first condition is usually sudden, healthful dietary changes. These dietary changes have an almost immediate impact on the Candida microorganisms that reside in most human gastrointestinal tracts.

It is also the case that prescription antifungal treatments may sometimes lead to a Candida yeast die off. As a result, large amounts of toxins end up flooding the bodies natural detox channels.

Because these symptoms are so nonspecific in nature, many medical professionals sometimes fail to properly diagnose a person experiencing a Candida die off symptom.

This might be due to the lack of severity of the symptoms in most people or it just may be that most traditional medical practitioners are not yet fully aware of how Candida operates within the body.

Perhaps the most confusing thing about experiencing die off symptoms of Candida is that it is the result of something that should actually be considered a good thing: Your dietary changes are working. It’s ironic that when people finally decide to stop eating junk food, which they may have been doing for many years, and start introducing a Candida diet program, this often will cause their Candida to die off symptoms to occur.

Those healthy dietary changes have effectively starved off the Candida organisms that were living off all that bad food in the G.I. Tract for so many years. The waste products or toxins that result, and which cause nausea, headaches or other signs and symptoms, are an unfortunate side effect and many people aren’t prepared to deal with such occurrences.

Major Effects

The major effects of a Candida die off, which can only occur when the gastrointestinal tract has a Candida overgrowth occurring within it, only lasts for a short time 2-5 days at most and is a true sign of progress.

Naturally, some people may feel poorly for very short amount of time, just as when they also are taking prescription antifungal medicines. However, just knowing ahead of time about die off can go a long way towards a smooth Candida treatment program.

Candida Rash

candida rash restore 3What needs to be understood is that Candida albicans is nothing more than an overgrowth of a fungal organism which lives in the gastrointestinal tract of humans. If the organism gets out of control in the G.I. Tract, medical problems can develop, including the Candida rash.

Typically, Candida infections show up in a number of different ways and in a number of different areas on the body. For women, one area in particular region where the Candida organism shows itself is in the vagina.

In men it can sometimes be the case that the Candida fungus takes up residence near the head of the penis. When Candida shows up on the skin a person will sometimes experience a rash. Candida diaper rash is a common fact of life for many babies.

What is Happening?

What’s clear about Candida albicans, is that if it has shown up on anywhere on the skin, than that person is likely experiencing an overgrowth of the organism in the G.I. tract which is where the root of the problem lies and must be addressed.

Children can suffer candida skin rashes as a consequence of having a large number of Candida microorganisms within their G.I. System. The most common form of Candida organism is the Candida albicans species. A rash that develops from this species is known as a Candida albicans rash.

Treatment

lotion restore 3There are a number of different methods for treating Candida rashes and Candida skin rashes. For the most part, the application of a skin cream containing effective antifungals is most effective in helping to rid the skin of Candida rashes.

Unfortunately, it is sometimes the case that fungal Candida rashes occur for unidentifiable reasons.

As to babies, the Candida diaper rash will normally show itself was raised red bumps and a reddened skin area on the baby and his or her rear. This is because the diaper covers this area and the baby will excrete waste products from the G.I. Tract and onto the skin.

Occasionally, something called “Candida die off rash” will take place if a large number of Candida organisms die off for some reason in the gastrointestinal tract. When they die off, they release a toxic waste product that overwhelms the body’s ability to rid of them off efficiently. It is this inability to handle these toxins that can lead to a person developing a skin rash.

Effective Candida rash treatment processes usually are made up of cleaning of the affected area and supportive care in the application of those topical antifungal creams that were discussed earlier. Always remember to use the cream as directed.

Avoiding Candida Rash

Sometimes, a Candida rash on the genitals is the result of sexual contact with a partner who is either suffering from a Candida yeast infection or Candida penis. Because of this, a person should have no hesitation in discussing a possible Candida infection with a medical professional and even with family members or friends.

Candida rash that is the result of a Candida infection and how it’s handled will all depend on how well-educated person who is suffering from the infection has made him or herself.

As always, educated awareness of the Candida fungal organism will help a person to realize that all they are dealing with is generally an overabundance of the yeast, Candida albicans which can be completely uprooted from their body by following the anti Candida protocol described on this page.

Why Bacillus Subtilis Is A Super Probiotic

probiotics restore 3Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis) is a beneficial probiotic that is found in the guts of humans. It supports enzyme production and digestion. This rod-shaped, Gram-positive bacteria are also known as Bacillus natto, Bacillus globigii, and Bacillus uni flagellates. Bacillus subtilis is one of many bacteria that have been recognized as key health promoters.

Here are some of the things that make Bacillus subtilis a super probiotic.

Restores Healthy Bacteria In The Gut

The gut needs healthy bacteria for healthy digestion. Sometimes, the stomach can become overgrown with harmful microbiota. Bacillus subtilis helps restore L. acidophilus and  L. reuteri in the gut, both of which have been found to protect against dangerous pathogens.

Supports Enzyme Production

digestive enzymes restore 3Enzymes are proteins that help the human body perform essential tasks. Enzymes act as catalysts for chemical reactions that help the human body repair and maintain itself. Enzymes are necessary for life. Without them, you could not live.

As you age, enzyme production slows down, which can increase the incidence of disease. Bacillus subtilis supports your gut in the creation of a variety of enzymes, including pullulanase, protease, amylase, lipase, and xylanase. Every one of these enzymes plays a role in digestive health and functioning. They promote optimal nutrient absorption, reduce bloating and gas, optimize the breakdown of fats and supports colon health.

Boosts Immunity and Disease Resistance

  1. Subtilis has been found to stimulate the immune response in numerous research studies. This useful supplement can help ward off illnesses. One study demonstrated that Bacillus subtilis are a safe and effective way to stimulate immune responses in the elderly. Other studies have shown similar results, as well. It is thought that this super probiotic has antimicrobial properties, which explains its ability to help the immune system fight off sickness.

May Help Fight Obesity

Bacillus subtilis may be beneficial in weight loss/obesity. A research study looked at the effect of B. subtilis on obese mice. Mice treated with the probiotic showed a decrease in weight gain and a decrease in triglyceride levels, as well. Triglycerides are a type of fat found in the blood. In humans, high levels of triglycerides in the blood can be very damaging to the heart. High triglycerides increase the risk of both stroke and heart attack.

Eliminates Bacteria That Cause Foot Ulcers

Foot ulcers are a common cause of amputation among people with diabetes. Nearly a quarter of people with foot ulcers will require amputation. Diabetes patients who have foot ulcers are more at risk of dying prematurely, as well. Research has shown that Bacillus subtilis have antimicrobial activity against the common bacteria that cause foot ulcers. Therefore, it may help prevent diabetes from developing foot ulcers that could lead to amputation.

Candida Fungus Overgrowth

candida albicansEveryone has a type of fungi, known as Candida, which is present in their digestive tract, throat and mouth. This is normal, and it plays a part in the health of the body. Normally this fungi is kept from growing and proliferating throughout the body by the immune system.

A Candida albicans fungus overgrowth usually happens when antibiotics, excess sugar or stress create an imbalance that weakens the immune system, which often can lead to a Candida albicans fungus overgrowth.

When does this happen?

It is not uncommon for each person to experience a yeast infection during their lifetime. Candida yeast infection is a common female complaint, although men may experience it too. It’s estimated that over 75% of women have had at least one Candida vaginal infection in their life.

When a yeast overgrowth occurs, the yeast can take on a different form and go into other parts of the body. A common problem known as Leaky Gut Syndrome, occurs when the yeast creates deep roots into the lining of the intestinal tract, allowing it to go into the bloodstream.

The blood transports this yeast to other organs of the body where it begins to give off some of its 70 toxins. Chronic Candida is actually a very common issue that not many people realize they have.

Candida Symptoms

Candida symptoms are many and they differ from person to person. The person may present symptoms such as learning difficulties, athlete’s foot, muscle weakness, poor memory, depression, dizziness, mood swings, strong cravings for sweets, bloating, abdominal gas and chronic exhaustion. According to some scientists, Candida infections can play an important role in mental health and other major illnesses.

Candida and the Brain

candida brain restore 3Scientists have yet to discover the reason why, but a Candida albicans fungus overgrowth seems to prefer the organ of the brain over other organs in the body. This may be the connection with mental illness. One of the main symptoms is a patient’s difficulty in thinking and “foggy headedness”.

Treatment

Treating Candida overgrowth can be done with supplements and a proper diet. It is necessary to start out slowly in order to avoid the Herxheimer reaction.

This is when the body’s immune system begins to kick in and it reacts adversely to large amounts of dead Candida cells, causing the patient to experience flu-like symptoms and to feel very sick. This can be avoided to a large extent by starting Candida treatments slowly. However, it is also a positive sign that treatment is actually working.

Candida Diet

The diet for treating Candida is made up of clean meats, plain yogurt, protein and non-starchy vegetables. Yogurt helps the natural bacteria in the intestines to flourish, making it possible for the immune system to control the Candida.

Things that cannot be eaten until the yeast is under control are: sugar, foods made from yeast, fruits and carbohydrates. Sugar is the number one food of Candida yeast and must be avoided if you are on a treatment program. A comprehensive protocol can be found here: Restore 3.

Supplements

Caprylic acid, garlic and acidophilus supplements are an important part of treatment. These supplements help the beneficial bacteria grow in the intestines, while destroying the Candida yeast. They have been proven to help the immune system stop a Candida albicans fungus overgrowth dead in it’s tracks.

Candida yeast sometimes does positive things for the body. For instance, it can consume foreign bacteria and is considered to play a small part in our defense system against dangerous bacteria in the intestine.

People are often sickly and frustrated because they can’t find help from their doctor and don’t know what is causing their suffering. This is a common situation for many who suffer from Candida albicans fungus overgrowth. If that happens to you, ask your doctor to check for Candidiasis so that you can start treating yourself immediately.

Digestive Problems That Cause Weight Gain

Have you tried and tried to lose weight but you just can’t drop the pounds no matter what you do? Your digestive system could be to blame. Gastrointestinal disorders can cause symptoms of constipation, heartburn, bloating, gas, diarrhea. Another little-known sign of a digestive issue is weight gain.1 Many people who struggle to lose weight experience depression, which explains why this disorder often linked to digestive problems like irritable bowel syndrome.

When your digestive system is not balanced, it can affect your ability to lose weight. Digestive issues have a significant effect on how the body absorbs and digest food. It can cause both weight gain and weight loss. Here are some of the most common digestive problems that can contribute to weight gain.

#1 SIBO

This condition refers to small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). It occurs when the bacteria in the gut become imbalanced. The bowel contains both good and bad bacteria. The good bacteria helps with digestion. Usually, there are enough good bacteria in the small intestine to keep the harmful bacteria under control. However, the number of dangerous bacteria can increase when it forms into clusters known as biofilms.

Biofilms are protective structures that help keep the bacteria from being destroyed by the immune system or by antibiotics. When harmful bacteria is rampant in the bowel, it can lead to a small intestinal overgrowth. Treating SIBO will help normalize your weight. The key to managing SIBO is with enzymes that break down the biofilms.

#2 Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Causes of IBSIrritable bowel syndrome or IBS is a common diagnosis gastrointestinal condition. It often overlaps other digestive issues such as a leaky gut. Like SIBO, irritable bowel syndrome often caused by an imbalance of good and evil bacteria in the stomach. Because IBS causes constipation and chronic inflammation, it can cause bloating and lead to weight gain.

If you have been diagnosed with IBS, it’s essential to get to the root of the problem. Talk to your doctor about building up the good bacteria in your system with a probiotic and adding digestive enzymes. This help breaks down food and eliminates biofilms. This can help you get a handle on weight gain.

#3 Food Intolerances

Do you experience pain and bloating when you eat certain foods? If your body is irritated after you consume certain things, then you could have a food intolerance. A food intolerance makes it hard for your digestive system to break down and digest certain foods. You might experience cramps gas and bloat. The bloating can make it seem like you’re gaining weight when it is the food intolerance causing the bloat around your midsection. Keeping a diary of the foods that bother you and changing your diet can go a long way towards eliminating food intolerances and banishing bloat.

Many digestive issues can cause weight gain as you can see. It is essential to choose a supplement to help keep your digestive system in balance so that it works as it should. Restore 3 is a supplement that helps eliminate many digestive problems. It gets to the source of gut issues and helps replenish and restore your digestive system with healthy bacteria.

What are Candida Biofilms?

Antibiotic resistant bacteria and biofilm.

Candida is a type of yeast that lives in the human body typically. Candida can be found in the belly, mouth, and vagina. Usually, it doesn’t cause any problems. However, candida can multiply and grow out of control, or they can group in slimy structures called biofilms.

We often think of fungus and bacteria as single cells. However, this is not necessarily true. Many fungi, like candida, form together in clumps or biofilms. Biofilms help candida, and other bacteria evade conventional antibiotic treatments. It also protects them from the body’s immune response, which would typically eliminate bacteria and fungal infections. Biofilms are one reason why many fungal and bacterial infections have become resistant to commonly-used medications.

Biofilms

Biofilms protect the fungi and bacteria. They make sure infections like yeast infections and urinary tract infection much more difficult to treat. This is why many people get recurrent urinary tract and yeast infections month after month.

A candida biofilm is a protective matrix that is made up of polysaccharides. The biofilm acts as a shield to protect the bacteria or fungus from medications and other mainstay treatments. Biofilms are bad news for the medical community. They commonly attach to implantable devices like prosthetic heart valves and hip replacements. Many times, this causes the surrounding tissue to become infected. The implant may even have to be taken out of the body.

Biofilms can develop anywhere within the body. Candida albicans is one of the most common fungal infections in hospitals. Many existing treatments for candida, including Diflucan, are not effective. The fungus has become resistant thanks to biofilms. In fact, researchers now think that some candida infections are nearly immune to all antifungals. Additionally, candida becomes more resistant in time thanks to stronger biofilm development. So, the longer that you have the infection, the harder it will be to eliminate especially using traditional treatments like Diflucan.

Another Factor

Another factor that complicates matters is that biofilms usually house a mixture of microbicide species. So, you might find a combination of fungi, bacteria, and protozoa living in one biofilm. This makes it even harder to treat infections caused by biofilms. The standard treatment for fungal infections like candida is antifungal medications. However, these are not effective against bacteria. So, even if the fungal infection is eliminated with an antifungal medication like Diflucan, there can still be bacteria present in the biofilm causing symptoms.

Can Biofilms Be Destroyed?

Fortunately, biofilm can be destroyed. However, the process of getting rid of biofilms is a slow one, and it doesn’t happen overnight.

Biofilms consist of more than 30 percent glucose. So, it needs sugar to grow and reproduce. One aspect of biofilm treatment involves a change in diet. This prevents the biofilm from getting the things that it needs to become stronger like excess sugar.

Another step in treating biofilms is to flood your system with systemic enzymes. Systemic enzymes help break down the unique characteristics that make up biofilm. At the same time, these enzymes help repair damage to the body. Helpful enzymes for breaking down candida biofilms include hemicellulase and amylase.

We recommend a complete biofilm fighting system: the Restore 3 All-in-One Restoration Program. This program contains a variety of enzymes and ingredients that attack biofilms at their source and replenish your body with essential proteins designed to restore balance to your system and eliminate fungal infections once and for all.

Causes of Candida Acne

acne candida restore 3What issues surround Candida acne? Well, issues that deal with Candida and acne or Candida albicans acne related problems can affect adult males and females at least as often as they affect teenagers. It is the case sometimes that Candida causes acne, though many a dermatologist might mistake Candida acne for “traditional” acne.

We should count ourselves fortunate that we are now aware of something like the Candida microorganism, which is a fungal species that inhabits the gastrointestinal tract of both males and females.

What is Acne Candida?

Acne Candida is related to the Candida albicans microorganism that has escaped from a person’s gastrointestinal tract and has gotten onto the skin. It is when Candida albicans acne makes its appearance on the skin of a teenager or adult that more than a few people will become overly concerned and may even use the wrong sort of treatment regimen to rid themselves of this acne.

What Causes this?

candida albicansAs mentioned, acne related issues have everything to do with fungus issues and not much to do with most normal causes of regular acne on a person’s face.

In normal acne, inflammation of the skin’s sebaceous glands will cause an outbreak. In Candida acne or “Candida overgrowth acne, ” as it’s sometimes called, the microorganism of the Candida species is the cause of the skin inflammation.

So, the question “Can Candida cause acne?” is easily answered once one understands that acne issues can sometimes be just as prevalent, depending upon Candida overgrowth in the gastrointestinal tract, as regular or traditional acne cause issues might be. Candida and acne, fortunately, can be addressed through a couple of different processes.

Treatment

In the first, something called “Candida acne therapy” has been shown to hold out great promise for preventing reoccurrence of Candida related acne in the future once a person has been properly diagnosed and then treated for the initial bout of acne.

This diet, which will normally consist of three major elements — including vegetables, meats, and certain foods containing small amounts of complex carbohydrates — could become a long-term commitment for those who desire not to suffer acne Candida in the future.

Initially, when a person — who’s been working with his physician or other health professional — has determined that he is suffering from acne Candida, clearing up the condition will be highly important. Certain topical skin creams containing natural oils or other substances proven to be effective against the Candida albicans organism will be called for. Sometimes, antibiotic creams can also help.

Next Steps

Though the phrase “Candida overgrowth acne” might seem a bit frightening at first, teens and adults should look at it with clear understanding that can be gained from conducting just a bit of research on what Candida is and how it relates to acne and just what it can do to the skin.

Acne — regardless of the age — is stressful enough. Failing to understand or learn just what sort of acne is involved (traditional or acne Candida) can only serve to add to the stress. This is why the Restore 3 protocol can be an important first step in clearing away any misconceptions about Candida and how to eliminate it from your life permanently.

The Surprising Link Between Irritable Bowel Syndrome And Anxiety And Depression

IBS diet restore 3It is common for people who have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) to also suffer from anxiety, depression and other mental health disorders. Doctors aren’t sure on how irritable bowel syndrome and psychiatric symptoms are related. But the one thing that is clear is that the diseases often occur together.

According to research studies, anywhere from 50 to 90 percent of people diagnosed with IBS to also have psychiatric disorders.1 The most common disorders seen in patients with irritable bowel syndrome are anxiety-related conditions and depression.

Medical experts have several theories about the connection between irritable bowel syndrome and depression and anxiety. Scientists from the Mayo Clinic suggest that a common genetic link between IBS and mental illness may be present in some people.2 The researchers believe that there is a common gene that can manifest itself as mental illness or IBS.

Another Theory

Another theory is that people with anxiety might be more aware of spasms in the colon that are associated with IBS.3

Irritable bowel syndrome is often triggered by the immune system. Stress has been found to affect the immune system significantly. So, some medical specialists believe that people who are under a lot of pressure or anxiety might be apt to develop IBS symptoms because of the stress/immune system link.4

There might also be a standard connection between IBS, depression and gut microbiota. Healthy gut microbiota is essential to health. It plays a significant role in a robust immune system and communication between the stomach and the brain.5

SIBO restore 3A disruption of the healthy gut microbiota is frequently seen in people with IBS. People with IBS tend to have gut microbes that are more unstable and less diverse than healthy people. Researchers have also found that people with psychological symptoms often have alterations in healthy gut microbiota. In fact, scientists believe that the gut microbiota could be the missing link in depression.6

Scientists believe that gut microbiota could initiate or contribute to the persistence of mental health symptoms.

Treating Both

While there has not been a specific cause of the IBS/mental health link, treating the IBS might help relieve symptoms of depression or anxiety, as well. One study, published in the Journal of Gastroenterology found that taking a probiotic supplement can relieve both conditions.

For the study, scientists recruited 44 adults with irritable bowel syndrome who also experienced mild or moderate depression or anxiety. Half of the subjects took a placebo, and half received a probiotic. Sixty-four percent of the participants who took the IBS probiotic were found to have decreased depression scores. Only 32 percent of the control group had improvements in depression. Participants that received the probiotic also had decreases and IBS symptoms as well.7

It is evident based on the research that establishing a healthy ratio of gut microbiome can reduce the symptoms of IBS and it might help relieve some symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well.

Supplements like the Restore 3 program that help relieve IBS symptoms might also have a positive benefit on mental health.

Candida Cause

candida albicansCandida overgrowth is a frequent infection caused by Candida albicans, a microscopic fungus. Men are less affected than women. As the level of pathogens increase because of this condition, the intestinal flora becomes more vulnerable to other diseases.

In some cases, Candida is asymptomatic, but most people complain about itching in the genital or anal area, headaches, fatigue, unusual vaginal secretion, bladder infections, pain during intercourse and before menstruation. A Candida cause can involve multiple factors that must be taken into account.

It is usually very difficult in tracking down the exact Candida cause in most situations because there tends to be a combination of factors usually involved. The same infection can have different causes for different people. While some of us are more sensitive, others can present no symptoms. However, here are the main causes of Candida that you must know about, in order to protect yourself:

Treatments for Candida

Antibiotics have long been thought of to be a big cause in Candida infections. Besides the harmful bacteria, antibiotics will destroy the friendly bacteria that play the role of protecting our body. The intestinal flora will become more vulnerable to Candida and other types of fungal infections.

Our immune system becomes weaker in the presence of certain diseases and conditions, such as diabetes, anemia or chronic infections. A Candida infection could be a sign that the body is suffering from an underlying immune deficiency such as AIDS or various cancers.

However, this is not usually the case as it’s been estimated that over half of the global population has some degree of Candida overgrowth. Candida represents a harmful factor for the entire body, in the lack of a proper protection. Untreated fungal infections which can cause septicemia and other harmful diseases.

What Else?

metalsBesides long-term use of antibiotics, there are several other factors that can cause Candida. Exposure to heavy metals such as mercury, aluminum or nickel have also been known to play a role in a Candida cause.

Metals wreck havoc on our immune system hindering and sometimes halting immune responses that the body would typically have. We are exposed to these metals in our antiperspirants, the metal fillings in our teeth, the aluminum foil we use to bake with and aluminum in baking powder.

Candida can result from an unprotected sexual contact, as it is a sexually transmitted disease. Keep in mind that men can also be infected by this fungal infection and may or may not show symptoms on their genitals.

Be aware of anxiety and depression, as these psychiatric conditions make the body to become more vulnerable to Candida.

Immunosuppression, chemotherapy and AIDS have a great impact on the immune system, lowering even more its level of activity; thus, the risk of developing Candida becomes higher.

Natural Treatments

Stay away from a diet high in carbohydrates, fermented foods, sugars, dried or frozen foods and alcoholic drinks.

Some of the main foods to avoid consuming are cheese, beer, wine, spices, mushrooms, cream, soy sauce, vinegar, bread, pasta, skim milk, pizza, fructose or corn syrup. All these foods are responsible for Candida.

The Restore 3 protocol includes an easy to follow diet that will starve the candida. The Restore 3 enzyme and probiotic blend makes the candida vulnerable to dying off and is an effective way to rid your system of candida for good.

Hormones

Hormonal changes are responsible for some important chemical reactions that take place in our body, making it more vulnerable to Candida.

These modifications are induced by pregnancy, contraceptive pills, menstruation, steroids and birth and is guessed to be the reason why women tend to develop a Candida overgrowth more often than men.

Women should be careful when it comes to genital hygiene. Frequent vaginal showers must be avoided, in order not to kill off the beneficial vaginal flora. Avoid wearing synthetic underwear and opt for more natural materials, such as cotton.

Partner Treatment

If you have been affected by Candida, ask your partner to follow the treatment you are doing; otherwise, the treatment will be incomplete and both of you might develop chronic infections and further complications.

Since there is no one Candida cause, take into account the following risk factors of Candida:

pregnancy, oral contraceptives, diabetes, antibiotics or steroids, diets based on sugars and exposure to heavy metals. Each of these pose a high-risk factor for Candida if all the conditions are ripe for it.

Chronic Candida Infection

yeast infection restore 3What to do about something like a chronic Candida infection will boil down to a few simple elements. First, learning whether or not you are indeed suffering from chronic Candida. Second, learning about the organism in order to eliminate its presence. Lastly, taking the proper steps to completely eliminating the overgrowth of Candida from the G.I. tract.

It helps to first know that C. albicans resides naturally within the G.I. tract of both men and women, and though it is thought of more as a woman’s medical condition, men can develop a chronic Candida infection just as easily as women.

What is Candida?

As far as Candida itself goes the most common form of the species is Candida albicans. Just as long as C. albicans remains naturally confined within the G.I. Tract — and just as long as it doesn’t grow wildly out of control — it will present little or no problem. But Candida, being fungal in nature, the possibility that it can indeed grow wildly is always present, in which case chronic Candida infections could become a depressing regularity.

When is it Chronic?

Candidiasis condition can be considered chronic if you have had symptoms generally lasting longer than 6 months or more. Some of the most common symptoms reported are constant headaches, fevers, gas/bloating, diarrhea or constipation, indigestion, brain fog, fatigue, depression etc.

Steps for Eliminating Candida

If any of these conditions have been occurring for longer than 6 months and you suspect chronic Candida albicans, than there are several steps you can take in order to eliminate these symptoms. Here are these steps simplified:

Step 1: Starve the Candida organism using the anti-Candida diet and/or anti-fungals. The anti-Candida diet can be found in the Restore 3 protocol

Step 2: Replenish your G.I. tract with probiotics and supplements that rebuild the intestinal wall.

By following this outline, you are well underway to regaining your health and eliminating most, if not all, of the symptoms that may be plaguing you. The biggest culprit to avoid at all costs during the anti-Candida diet is to eliminate all sugar from your diet since Candida yeast cells feed mainly off of the sugar that you eat.

What Now?

If the Candida problem remains within body systems or organs, certain robust anti-fungals can do the trick as far as overcoming the various chronic Candida infections that may show themselves. If Candida can make it into one or several of the body systems such as the bloodstream, there is a danger of developing chronic systemic Candida. This should be regarded as a potentially serious issue if left untreated for many years.

Chronic Candida

Chronic Candida, if left untreated for a long period of time, has the potential to wreak havoc on the general well-being of a person both physically and non-physically. It also has been shown to lead to many auto-immune diseases and conditions such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.

By taking your health into your own hands and educating yourself on chronic Candida, you can eliminate this problem forever rather inexpensively. There is a wealth of information and a step-by-step guide to Candida elimination found in the Restore 3 protocol

Diflucan for Candida

pills antibioticsDiflucan is the brand name for the antifungal drug called Fluconazole. It is a potent drug used to treat Candida infections. Candidiasis is caused by the overgrowth of the fungus, Candida albicans. This infection can arise anywhere in the body, but it is more severe with immunocompromised patients.

Where does this Happen?

Fungal infections can occur on many regions of the interior and exterior body. Women commonly have yeast infections, but immunocompromised patients may develop oral thrush along the oropharynx or esophagus. It may become disseminated into the bloodstream which may then affect other organs. Infections can also occur in the kidneys or bladder to cause renal papillary necrosis or cystitis.

Prescription Treatments

Fluconazole belongs to a family of drugs. Similar drugs include itraconazole and ketoconazole, but many doctors will prescribe Diflucan For Candida. Fluconazole can penetrate the central nervous system (CNS) through the cerebrospinal fluid(CSF). We haven’t heard of many cases where a Fluconazole Candida treatment had lasting effects. Therefore, it is also used to treat another type of fungal infection called cryptococcal meningitis.

Ketoconazole is an imidazole antifungal agent. It inhibits an enzyme which converts lanesterol to ergosterol. Fungal membranes are unstable with decreased levels of ergosterol. Human cells are resistant to the effects of ketoconazole. Fluconazole and itraconazole are triazoles but function in a similar way.

Fluconazole is used as the drug of choice in treating oropharyngeal and esophageal Candidiasis. One dose of 150 mg is sufficient to treat a case of vulvovaginal Candidiasis. Candida infections of the bloodstream will require a daily dose of 400 mg, and the infected catheter must be removed. Patients who acquire deep candidal infections post-bone marrow transplant will also need to take Diflucan For Candida. If doctors don’t prescribe Diflucan for Candida they will often prescribe another antifungal mentioned above called Ketoconazole.

How these Drugs are taken

Fluconazole is used in the initial and maintenance therapy of cryptococcal meningitis of AIDS patients. Patients who also suffer from candida infections of the mucosal surfaces such as the oropharynx can be treated with Diflucan. It has been to be effective in those with CD4 cell counts less than 200. Although, it has also been very effective in patients with cell counts less than 50. This is not recommended though because it has not shown to improve patient mortality, and it may cause resistance to the drug.

Diflucan can be administered as a tablet, suspension, or in intravenously. A daily dose can be used. It penetrates the CSF and other body fluids well. Dosages need to adjusted for those patients who have renal disease. It also can have reactions with other certain drugs the patient may be taking such as coumadin or phenytoin. Often if this happens, doctors will prescribe Nystatin for Candida which is another powerful antifungal.

Side Effects

IBS diet restore 3The side effects of fluconazole include nausea and abdominal pain. A common reaction among HIV patients is allergic reaction. HIV patients may also develop Stevens – Johnson syndrome which may become fatal. Rare forms of toxicity to fluconazole include anaphylaxis, hepatic necrosis, and neutropenia.

Other types of antifungal agents exist such as amphotericin B. This agent has many uses similar to that of Diflucan. However, doctors now prescribe Diflucan For Candida instead of amphotericin B as the drug of choice, in most cases, because amphotericin B has many more side effects. It has been nicknamed amphoterrible.

Fluconazole is less effective than itraconazole in treating blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, and sporotrichosis. Also, Fluconazole is also not effective in mucormycosis and aspergillosis.

Natural Treatments

Since fluconazole and other prescription medications are not shown to have lasting effects, diet and lifestyle changes are the way to beat candida. The easy to follow steps found in the Restore 3 protocol have been shown to be an effective, lasting way to get rid of yeast infections.

The Role Of Biofilms In Chronic UTIs

UTI restore 3Urinary tract infections or UTIs are the most common type of infections in older adults and one of the most common reasons for sepsis and bacteremia.1

UTIs are responsible for more than 1 million hospital admissions every year in the United States. They account for more than 7 million physician visits. Urinary tract infections can also be extremely difficult to banish. Many times, they keep returning over and over again

The medical community poorly understands recurrent UTIs. More women than men get them but the reasons for this are not understood well either. UTIs traditionally treated with antibiotics. However, these remedies often don’t work. The UTIs either don’t respond to treatment at all or keep coming back. Sometimes, they recur right after antibiotic treatment ends.

What are the symptoms of a urinary tract infection? The most common symptoms of a UTI include:

  • Pain with urination
  • Darker cloudy urine
  • Frequent urination
  • Incontinence or pressure

If the infection continues without treatment, it can lead to even more severe symptoms including:

  • Vomiting
  • Nausea
  • Chills
  • Fatigue
  • Mental disorientation and confusion
  • High fever

If you believe that you have a UTI, it is best to visit your doctor right away for treatment. Immediate medical care is required for UTIs. If you have recurrent or chronic UTIs, to be related to biofilm.

What Are Biofilms?

biofilm restore 3Bacteria that infect the urinary tract causes urinary tract infections. Although most people think of bacteria as single entities, they tend to group into slimy colonies called biofilms.

Biofilms are made up of a sticky extracellular polymeric substance that helps protect the bacteria from the immune system and antibiotics. Bacterial biofilms are as much as 1,000 times more resistant to antibiotics than a single organism.2

This fact makes it very difficult for antibiotics to kill infections that are hiding in biofilms. Medicines may relieve symptoms for a short period. However, the antibiotics do not kill all of the bacteria, and the infection returns.  Researchers have found that bacterial biofilms are responsible for persistent urinary tract infections.3 The biofilms play an essential role in UTIs and lead to relapses and recurrences.

How To Disrupt Biofilms

digestive enzymes restore 3Although biofilms are highly resistant to standard antibiotics, they can be disrupted. Disrupting these colonies of bacteria can help keep UTIs from returning.

So, how do you disrupt biofilms and get rid of UTIs for good? The answer lies in the use of enzymes. Specific enzymes have been found to help dissolve biofilms. Researchers have used proteins to break down biofilms in patients diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. In one study, the enzymes caused 94 percent of the biofilm’s mass to dissolve on contact.4

Look for a supplement that breaks down biofilms, removes harmful bacteria and replenishes the system with beneficial bacteria that help fight pathogenic microorganisms. We recommend the Restore 3 supplement as it does all of these things in one easy program.

What is Vaginal Candida?

vaginal candida restore 3Vaginal Candida is a very common disease of the genital area, caused by a fungus called Candida albicans. This fungus can affect both sexes, but it is 10 times more common in women.

Yeast Candida infection, a frequent mycosis, is caused by various species of Candida, which, in conditions of immunodeficiency, can become invasive with organic localizations. Candida Albicans infections occur in women due to a female hormone, known as progesterone. Progesterone increases the amount of glycogen in the vaginal mucosa, causing the occurrence of yeast Candida infections. The level of progesterone increases considerably during pregnancy.

Who Gets it?

It is estimated that 75% of women had, at least once in their life, an episode of vaginal Candida with 40-50% of them having two or even more episodes. It is very important to know that Candida vaginitis is not a sexual disease, although it can be transmitted sexually.

Candida Albicans vaginitis causes involve multiple factors, such as the prolonged use of antibiotics, changes occurred during pregnancy, menstruation, and menopause or after a treatment with hormonal drugs – including contraceptives. It must be reminded that immune system deficiency and diabetes can cause vaginal Candida.

Symptoms of Vaginal Candida

yeast infection restore 3Vaginal Candida can have no symptoms or the symptoms may vary from woman to woman, as they depend on the type of infection. It can also be a sign of Candida proliferating within the intestinal environment creating problems with digestion and a huge list of symptoms stemming from this yeast.

One of the most common symptoms consists in changes of the smell, color and consistency of vaginal secretions.

In case of yeast Candida infections, most woman experience itching in the genital or anal area, changes of vaginal secretions (smell, color), possible swelling and redness of the vulva, a burning sensation, pain during intercourse, bladder infection. Men have different symptoms, such as an inflammation of the penis, urethral leakage, itching and redness of the penis or white, fungal ‘spots’ on or around the penis shaft.

How to Treat Vaginal Candida

Often, vaginal Candida is not easy to treat. Some women have frequent relapses and others do not respond to treatment. In these cases, the treatment can last for months. The treatment prescribed by the gynecologist must be followed thoroughly, even if the symptoms disappear. Enzyme therapy and the use of probiotics has been shown to make vaginal candida treatment much more effective. Restore 3 is a blend of enzymes and probiotics used to make Candida vulnerable to dying off.

Lasting Relief

health protocol restore 3Regaining the stability of vaginal flora can be a long process and even if you feel better, Candida overgrowth may still be present and recur. In general, Candida Albicans vaginitis is treated with ovules that contain antibiotics. However, the best treatment for long term overgrowth is by natural means including changing your diet and lifestyle habits and avoiding foods that feed Candida. The protocol including a Candida diet found here: Restore 3 is an easy to follow guide for making these diet and lifestyle changes.

Eat as much yogurt as possible, because it contains a bacterium called Lactobacillus acidophilus, which increases the number of “good” bacteria in the body, fighting against vaginal Candida. Yogurt can be also used locally, applied to inflamed areas, because of the friendly bacteria yogurt contains.

However, choose a yogurt that hasn’t been pasteurized because this generally kills most of the beneficial bacteria in the yogurt, which is the most important ingredient when applying yogurt topically. If conditions are chronic, however, it is recommended to take these “good” bacteria in concentrated form via supplements.

In the first stages of Candida, it’s recommended to have vaginal showers with bicarbonate; also, drinking specific teas (marigold tea) reduces the sensation of itching and burning. Also, avoid wearing lingerie made of synthetic fibers.

Use a lubricant during intercourse, if the vagina is dry. To prevent the occurrence of yeast Candida infections, apply calendula ointment regularly. Ask your doctor before using cosmetic products for vaginal hygiene. Don’t try drastic diets that might affect the immune system, making the body become more vulnerable to infections. When you follow a treatment with antibiotics, use a method of protection for vaginal flora and be sure to resupply your body with beneficial bacteria called acidophilus, which you can find in yogurt or via supplements found at a natural food or vitamin shop.

What Is Your Body Trying To Tell You When You Feel Bloated?

bloated restore 3You know the feeling — that too-full sensation that you get in your belly. Bloating is extremely common, and it doesn’t happen after eating a large Thanksgiving meal. One out of every ten people in the U.S.1 says that they suffer from bloating on a regular basis. In some cases, bloating can become severe enough that it impacts daily life.

Although it might seem like it is from overeating, bloating is usually related to a health condition. It is your body’s way of trying to tell you something. There are many possible causes of chronic bloating. Here are some everyday things that cause bloating and pain.

FODMAPS

FODMAPS refer to carbohydrates that are often poorly digested by the small intestine. They are often related to the leaky gut syndrome. Bacteria tend to feed on these carbohydrates, which can lead to bacterial overgrowth and cause the leaky gut syndrome. This causes2 fluid and gas to build up in the belly leading to bloating and pain.

FODMAPS are in many everyday foods, including fruits, grains, berries, and sugars. To determine if FODMAPS might be to blame for your bloating, keep a diary of foods that affect you. If you notice that bloating often occurs after eating the same foods, check here to see if the foods in questions are on the list of high FODMAP foods. If so, then you might want to consider a low-FODMAP diet to see if that resolves the issue.

Enzyme Deficiency

digestive enzymes restore 3Digestive enzymes are essential in helping your body break down food. If you experience bloating or other signs of intolerance after eating certain foods, proteins could be to blame.

Enzymes usually decrease3 as one ages. Therefore you may need to supplement digestive enzymes to help banish bloating and other stomach problems.

Look for supplement blends that contain Bacillus Coagulans and Lipase. Bacillus Coagulans helps replenish the gut’s natural microbiome. It also helps reduce stomach pain and bloating in people with IBS. Lipase Is a powerful enzyme that breaks down fats in food to help you better digest them.

Digestive Disorders

Painful or uncomfortable bloating is one of the leading signs of a digestive disorder. I know everyone has to bloat from time to time, but long term issues with bloating can be associated with something more serious.

If you are also experiencing other symptoms such as stomach cramps, diarrhea, and constipation for longer than a few months, it may be a sign that more serious issues are developing and often it’s best to nip things in the bud before it gets to be a larger issue.

Many people don’t feel comfortable talking about these symptoms. However, it is essential to discuss these symptoms with a doctor or natural health practitioner.

Natural Relief for Bloating

There are many things that you can do at home to prevent stomach bloating and get relief. One of the first things to do is to supplement with probiotics. Another great remedy is to use activated charcoal, which can help decrease the bloating and associated symptoms by mopping up toxins that can be responsible for gas & bloating.

Probiotics

Probiotics are healthy bacteria that help prevent and treat some illnesses. They help promote a healthy digestive and immune system. These beneficial microorganisms can be supplemented through dietary supplements.

The best type of probiotics we’ve found are the soil-based which don’t cause a histamine reaction that the lacto based acidophilus type of probiotics do. This is especially helpful for people who already are dealing with digestive issues who typically are sensitive to these types of probiotics.
